Big Brother 28 players pitch hilarious new punishments they’d like to see on the show

‘Big Brother 28’ players pitch hilarious new punishments they’d like to see on the show, including vows of silence, food temperature chaos, and a ‘giant booty big ear dwarf or gnome or something’ outfit.

Big Brother is not just known for velociraptors murdering reality television contestants. Nor is merely famous for artificial intelligence entities taking control of the house or masked supervillains abducted hosts on the sir.

The show has also garnered fame — or infamy — thanks to its long (and at least semi-proud) history of administering absolutely ridiculous punishments to its contestants along the way. Those punishments can come in many absurd forms.

There are the super dumb outfits, first brought into style courtesy of Jen Johnson’s red unitard on Big Brother 8 and extending all the way to last year’s “The Butt-ler Did It” unitard (complete with oversized derriere) sported by Keanu Soto.

Sometimes, players are sequestered, like on season 15 when poor Judd Daugherty spent 24 hours by himself with an alarm clock going off every nine minutes.

Often, we see two contestants shackled together in some form, like when Cirie Fields and Felicia Cannon had to row around the season 25 house in a kayak for 48 hours.

Or a person is forced to take on a grueling task, like when season 16’s Brittany Martinez had to kick 2,400 soccer goals in 24 hours, or when Angela Murray had only 12 hours to retrieve 1,000 ping pong balls during her last appearance on season 26.

Oh, there was also the time a player was turned into a robot. I’m not even going to bother trying to explain that one.

Since the show is known for its creative penalties, Entertainment Weekly asked the new cast before they entered the house to pitch a brand new punishment they’d like to see on the show. And since season 28 just unleashed its first punishment of the season (sorry, Angela), it seems like the perfect time to unleash their answers.

As is usually the case, we weren’t able to get answers from quite everybody, so Taylor’s and Yash’s answers are not represented here. (Should they now be punished as a result?) But look below to watch all the punishment pitches from the rest of the cast, and see which ones you’d like to see put into action.
