Corrie Shockwave! Kit and Lisa’s Theo Hunt Takes a Dark Turn as Hidden Secrets Explode Tonight
Kit and Lisa are still on the case...
What’s about to happen on the cobbles could leave more than one resident fighting to keep their secrets buried.
Coronation Street spoilers follow from Friday’s episode (10 July), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet.
Tonight’s hour-long Coronation Street is packed with tension as Lisa pushes hard to reignite Theo’s murder investigation, while Kit finds himself unable to walk away from the case no matter how much pressure is put on him.
And that’s only the beginning. Elsewhere, Christina is finally cornered into telling the truth about what she’s been hiding — and the fallout is set to be brutal.
Read on for five explosive moments coming up…
1. Maria puts Kit in an impossible position

Kit is left fuming after his bosses pull him off Theo’s murder investigation and tell him to focus on other cases instead. But even with the order ringing in his ears, Kit clearly isn’t ready to let this one go.
Lisa won’t be left alone for long, though, as colleague McLaughlin steps in to back her up.
Things get even messier when Maria vents to Kit about Gary and accuses him of being a liar. Kit is instantly hooked by what he hears — and that could be exactly the opening he needs to keep digging.
2. Lisa is suspicious of Todd’s strange behaviour

Lisa tries to breathe new life into the investigation by questioning Maria again about the alibi she gave for Gary.
But the real shock comes when she mentions to Todd that the case is deadlocked. Instead of reacting like someone desperate to see justice done, Todd barely seems bothered — and Lisa is left completely baffled by the change in him.
Viewers already know Todd is covering for Sarah, but the big question is whether Lisa will piece it together before the lie blows up in her face.
3. Cassie is hit with a savage blackmail threat

Tyrone’s biological dad Ross suddenly arrives to meet him, thanks to Hope and Ruby, who tracked him down through a DNA website.
Tyrone makes it clear he doesn’t want or need a long-lost father after managing without one for so long. But Ross quickly reveals a nastier side, turning the moment into a threat rather than a reunion.
He blackmails Cassie and demands she convince Ty to change his mind — or he’ll expose her drunken hotel antics. That secret could be enough to blow everything apart.
4. Christina’s confession lands like a bombshell

George is furious when he discovers Christina secretly meeting her ex-husband Lenny. At first, it looks like the kind of scandal that could tear everything apart — but the truth is even more troubling.
This isn’t an affair. Christina has fraudulently taken out a credit card in Lenny’s name, and he has now found out.
When the pressure becomes impossible to ignore, Christina finally admits she’s done the same thing using Mary and Glenda’s names too. She blames her spending addiction, but whether George can forgive the scale of her deceit is another matter entirely.
5. Adam is dragged into the mould scandal

Adam is summoned to the Rovers for a tense meeting with Abi and Sally, who want him to support a lawsuit against Idris after the mould crisis at Abi’s flat.
But Adam knows this isn’t just a legal issue. He’s painfully aware of how deeply the scandal affected Abi’s son Alfie, which makes the decision far more complicated than a simple yes or no.
And with Idris also tied to Alya’s family, Adam is pushed straight into the centre of a case that could create even more damage on the street.
