As Coronation Street‘s trial week races toward its climax, there is still a real chance that justice could finally be done in Megan Walsh’s case. With Will Driscoll getting one more opportunity to give evidence, the pressure is enormous as he prepares to take on her lies head-on.

At the same time, secret killer Sarah Platt is facing fresh trouble of her own, after both David and Kit Green begin to question her behaviour.

Still reeling after discovering that Megan lied viciously about him and his family in court, Will decides he cannot let the damage stand. He asks for another chance to testify, determined to put the truth back on the record.

When he returns to the stand, Will admits he previously protected Megan by lying. But this time, he is ready to speak openly about her abuse and manipulation. The question now is whether his testimony will be enough to shift the jury’s minds.

2. Megan lashes out again

Furious that Will has finally told the truth in court, Megan wastes no time in retaliating. She follows him back to the cobbles and unleashes a chilling threat, reminding everyone that she is not going down without a fight.

Is this Megan’s final desperate attempt to scare Will and the Driscolls into silence — or the start of one last dangerous move before jail closes in?

3. Kit questions Sarah’s suspicious behaviour

David becomes increasingly uneasy after spotting the odd tension between Sarah and Jodie. Concerned that something is badly off, he alerts Kit — who quickly realises he may have been too distracted to notice how serious the situation has become.

When Kit finally questions Sarah, it lands at exactly the wrong moment. She is already struggling to hide her guilt over Theo’s murder case, and this new pressure could expose everything.

4. Idris is forced into a damaging confession

Toyah storms into Leanne’s hotel room, furious that she has not visited Sam as promised. She says she tried calling several times to warn her about Sam’s latest troubles, but could not get through.

Idris then has no choice but to admit he put Leanne’s phone on silent because he did not want them disturbed. Leanne is left seething, and she accuses him of trying to control every part of her life.

5. Sam’s future hangs in the balance

There is at least one bright spot for Sam, as his family receive news that Megan’s trial appears to be back on track. For them, that raises fresh hope that she may still end up behind bars.

But Sam’s own situation takes a harsher turn. Doctors are no longer willing to discharge him after this week’s setbacks, leaving his treatment plan in doubt and raising the possibility that he may start blaming Nick.
