Tonight on Big Brother 28 at 8/7c on CBS, the house is heading into the explosive conclusion of the Head of Household competition — and the pressure is already sky-high. At the close of Friday night’s Unlocked episode, viewers finally saw the competition begin, with each team gripping ropes to keep the puzzle balanced while their leader worked to assemble it. It’s the kind of setup that can expose weak links fast, echoing older seasons that used coaches and cliques to force early divisions. Whether it sticks long term is another question, but for now it has already added a sharp edge to the season’s opening battle.

And the stakes couldn’t be higher. The first-place finisher earns this week’s Head of Household title, while the other two teams still have work to do if they want to avoid landing in the dreaded Have-Not room. That punishment is never pretty, and tonight’s episode should show just how miserable it can get — especially with the spinning, noisy bed the houseguests are forced to share. Brutal.
