The second group transported to Fiji in 2018, where an invitation was delivered to… Jeff Probst. The Survivor host, being the wily veteran he is, apparently crossed out his own name, swapped it for Survivor 50 chaos agent Rick Devens, and sent him in instead. The houseguests didn’t see that coming. Neither did we.

Then came group three, who traveled to 2010 Las Vegas to find a sassy VIP cocktail waitress named Rachel Reilly. They got blasted with neon paint. Rachel accepted the invitation with maximum drama. And for a brief, beautiful moment, Big Brother’s most legendary hellraiser was back in the game — proclaiming “Nothing is coming between me and my Big Brother double crown.”

And then the show sent everyone to the year 175 million BC.

What happened next defies description, but we’ll try: Rachel Reilly was attacked by a velociraptor. The dinosaur gradually pushed her toward the top of a volcano. She fell in. She died.

Her destination? December 20, 2023 — a date that just happens to correspond to the Survivor 45 finale, won by Dee Valladares.

The episode ended there, leaving fans to connect the dots on their own. It doesn’t take much connecting.
