Big Brother fans shocked over real size of ‘run-down’ house’s backyard
BIG Brother fans are surprised by the appearance of the house’s backyard in a rare behind-the-scenes clip.
Houseguest Barrett Pfeiffer gave fans an unexpected tour of the famous house earlier this week, and it looked very different from what it looks like on screen.
Barrett recorded a “POV” video for the show’s social media – one of the few times the houseguests have been allowed to use devices.
He humorously shared his view of the house as the tallest person on the show, standing at 6 feet, 6 inches tall.
The jumbotron engineer first gave fans a glimpse inside the house, including the bathrooms, kitchen, and living room.
He then guided fans outside, where the houseguests are often seen hanging out in the weekly episodes and live feed.

The backyard is a rectangular area with turf grass, shielded by four big walls with murals of mountains and greenery.
There is no ceiling, so the houseguests still have a view of the sky and the surrounding trees, but nothing beyond that.
A corner of the yard features the in-ground pool and hot tub, surrounded by bean bag chairs and loungers.
The other side of the yard consists of cornhole boards, a hammock, a pool table, exercise equipment, and a seating area with couches for the houseguests’ enjoyment.
A tall standalone camera, which the cast jokingly named Walter, sits in the middle of the yard, with the walls lined with mirrors for cameras as well.
Barrett captured several of his fellow houseguests in the clip, including Rick Devens, who lounged on a giant flamingo float in the pool.
Dee Valladares, Drew Campbell, and Lyric Medeiros also came into the frame to greet fans, as they gathered for a group hug.
The video was presumably recorded weeks earlier before Lyric’s eviction.
While fans were excited to get a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic house, many were shocked by the backyard’s actual size compared to how it appears on TV.
“Is it just me or is the backyard actually much smaller than feeds and the show make it seem??” one person pointed out on X.
“Yeah, quite a few HG’s have mentioned this over the years. It is not that big at all, even though it seems like it from this side. It is like the Wheel of Fortune wheel,” another commented.
“Ooh camera angles I guess,” a third suggested.
“Seeing the backyard like this kinda stresses me out? Idk why I felt like the walls were so much bigger. The fact they can just randomly see a tree would send me insane,” a fourth reacted.
“This is jarring,” a fifth added, while a sixth thought the yard looked “run-down.”
Jason De Puy, who was evicted earlier in the season after stirring up drama with several members of the Red Corner alliance, also replied to fans’ comments about the views of the sky and trees in the backyard.
