Big Brother 28 Episode 15 Recap: A Confession Tour Sends the House Spiraling

The fallout from the latest vote continued to spread through the Big Brother 28 house Wednesday night, as one houseguest’s attempt to clean up a lie only created more chaos. With trust already in short supply, Angela’s confession set off a chain reaction that put alliances under pressure, exposed new cracks in the house and left Haley and Chuk facing an even bigger threat to their games.

Wednesday’s episode picks up after Lala’s nomination ceremony. Lala lets us know that Barrett is a pawn and Haley is her target. She also puts Chuk on the block because Haley and Chuk are together, and she has no idea how one will function without the other.

Haley was crying in the Diary Room, saying she had been dragged since Day One and that her days were not getting any better. Chuk felt blindsided and betrayed because Lala had told him she was not going to put him up. Chuk finished his Diary Room session by saying Lala was clearly “dazed and confused.”

Kamu, however, was very happy. He no longer trusted Haley and Chuk and had a hand in putting them on the block. Now he felt pretty safe, at least while Lala was Head of Household.

Meanwhile, the icons were gloating that they had remained unscathed and had two powers among them. But Angela was starting to feel guilty about the lies she had been telling about voting out Lyric. So she was beginning to spiral a bit.

Devens got bored and decided to push Dee to confess that she had one of the powers. She finally gave in and let him know.

But others were still trying to figure out the vote flip. Haley checked in with Dee and Angela, who were still claiming they voted out Melody. Dee stood strong and was not about to admit that she had voted to evict Lyric, but Angela was getting closer to caving in, even though Haley fully believed her. Angela slept on it, woke up in tears and decided it was time to come clean.

Angela told Haley that she was sorry and that she had voted the wrong way. Angela explained that it had nothing to do with Haley’s game and that she was simply trying to clear her conscience. Haley was completely shocked because Angela was the one person she believed. Haley seemed OK with the news, but you could see it brewing in her head. Pretty soon, she would not seem so OK, especially with the sinister music the show was playing underneath the conversation.

Haley returned to Angela and told her that what really hurt was that, after the vote, Angela had shouted out Haley’s family. Chuk came in next and told Angela that he was disappointed in her. Angela said she should not have done it, but what was done was done, and Chuk would not even hug her.

Angela decided to continue her confession tour and told Kamu. He received the information much better than the other two. He actually comforted her. That was partly because the news vindicated him and proved that he had never lied about the vote the way Angela had.

The drama might have been intensifying, but there was still a veto to play, and first they had to pick the players. Joining Lala, Haley, Barrett and Chuk were Kamu, who was chosen by Chuk as his Houseguest’s Choice, and Dee. Chuk picked Kamu because he thought they were still solid, but they were not. Kamu had no plans to use the veto if he won it.

Back to the drama. Dee decided to tell Kamu that she had also voted to evict Lyric. She thought he would be able to move past it and still work with her. She apologized and told him it was only because of Haley and Chuk. Kamu had already been trying to distance himself from Haley and Chuk, and this gave him even more reason to keep his distance. And for some reason, Dee also decided to tell Kamu that she had the BB Bribe power.

Then Haley told Dee that Angela had told her Dee voted on the other side too, but Angela had not actually done that. Dee was still claiming she had voted out Melody, so they decided to call Yash and Angela into the room.

Haley told Angela that she had really screwed over the alliance. Angela, in tears, apologized again and said she did not want to be on the wrong side of the vote. Chuk asked Angela if she had thrown Dee under the bus. Angela said no, but Haley said, “Yeah, she did.” Angela went off on Haley for lying, which was, ironically, an actual lie, and called it a “bitch move.” Angela then stormed out in tears. And for some reason, Lala and Haley had a little spat over whether Haley was going to apologize to Angela. Tensions were getting high in the house, so naturally, it was the perfect time for the Power of Veto competition.

For this veto competition, the players had to remember a dance floor pattern and face off in pairs. In each round, the person who made it to the end first won the round, while the loser was eliminated. We have seen this competition over the past few seasons.

First up were Kamu and Chuk. Kamu won the round, sending Chuk out. Haley and Lala faced off next, and Haley won, eliminating Lala. Dee and Barrett were up next, and Barrett won the round, sending Dee out.

Kamu had the best time, so he moved on to the final round. That left Haley and Barrett to face off, and Barrett beat Haley. So it came down to Kamu and Barrett. In the end, Kamu took home the Power of Veto.

After his win, Kamu started planting seeds with Haley and Chuk that he might not use the Power of Veto. Haley and Chuk were finally starting to see the writing on the wall, and they were not happy. It did not make sense to them that their closest ally suddenly sounded like he was not going to use the veto on one of them.

Reality hit even harder at the veto ceremony when Kamu chose not to use it. Haley, Chuk and Barrett remained on the block heading into Thursday night’s Block Buster competition.
