Jason De Puy Is Out — And He Is Not Holding Back

Jason De Puy didn’t make it to jury. He didn’t get a single vote to stay in the house. But he left Big Brother 28 exactly the way he came in — loud, unapologetic, and absolutely determined to have the last word.

The 35-year-old drag performer, known on stage as Salina EsTittties from RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, sat down for his first post-eviction interview and had plenty to say about the tea party confrontation, Kamu’s behavior, and which houseguests he’s already written off permanently.

The 12-0 Vote — and What Jason Really Thinks

“The 12-0 honestly did kind of hurt a little. It stung a bit while sitting there,” he admitted. “I would’ve hoped I would’ve had maybe at least three or four.” But Jason says he understands the game logic — he voted Rome out himself the week before. The thing that surprised him? Finding out that Melody had actually been working to save him. “That makes me feel better,” he said, “because it kind of did feel like I didn’t really have anyone in the house.”

The Tea Party Confrontation With Kamu

When asked about Kamu blowing up Mallory’s tea party to put Jason on blast in front of the entire house, Jason’s response was sharp. “First of all, poor Mallory. She was a have-not. She just wanted to have a cute tea party.” But beyond the humor, Jason had a deeper point to make.

“What I’m not used to is standing up for myself,” he said. Growing up in the drag world, Jason says online bullying and harsh feedback are part of life. What the Big Brother house taught him was that when no one comes to your rescue, you have to be your own advocate. “I have nothing to lose. And I see now that no one’s gonna advocate for me. So let’s go balls to the wall and bang some teapots.”

As for whether he felt genuinely bullied by Kamu: “Not necessarily. I kind of just wanted to strike fear in the girls’ hearts.” He was trying to plant a seed of doubt — to make the other houseguests afraid of what the majority alliance could do to them next. It didn’t work. But he maintains that he called Kamu’s game correctly. “I clocked them very severely. So they hated that.”

Who He Liked — And Who He’d Never See Again

Jason had warm words for Taylor and Barrett, whom he called his favorite people in the house. LaTrice was “like the mother I could have ever hoped to have in the house.” Baby Lyric was his little pet — though he wasn’t entirely sure if her sweetness was genuine or an act.

As for Chuk, Haley, and Kamu: “I would never ever care to have a conversation with any of them. Ever, ever, ever.” When asked if not hugging them on the way out was a deliberate message, Jason didn’t blink. “They got what they wanted. They don’t need any more from me. That costs extra.”

His Secret Identity — And the Drag Race Connection

Jason kept his Drag Race past hidden from the house even as returning icons Dee, Devens, and Angela enjoyed elevated status as known reality TV players. He says he considered revealing it but held back. “I feel like it would’ve put a target on my back.” Instead, he let his natural showmanship carry him — and believes the other icons felt threatened by it. “My star quality alone, I think, came through without them knowing I was an icon.”
