The season premieres July 9 on Paramount+, with live feeds already rolling. Julie Chen Moonves is back as host, the house is rigged with over 100 cameras and 100 microphones, and this year’s theme — “Time Trip” — drops the cast into a world of 1980s-to-Y2K nostalgia with time-warping competitions, era-based rooms, and twists that will reshape the game before it even gets going.
The Theme Is “Time Trip” — And It’s Wild
The BB28 house isn’t just a house this year — it’s a time machine. According to CBS, “houseguests will enter a world where rooms, relics and competitions transport them across moments in time, while early twists shake up the game from the start.” We’re talking a Time-Bending Entryway, a Living Room of Eras, a Clockwork Bathroom, an Artifact Bedroom, and Futuristic Sleep Pods. The production design alone is going to send people spiraling.
The time-travel angle also powers this season’s twists, though CBS is keeping the details under wraps until the premiere. What we know: nothing in this house works the way you’d expect it to, and that starts on day one.

Jason De Puy (aka Salina EsTitties) — Drag Queen, Los Angeles, California (@estitties). A RuPaul’s Drag Race alum. Every alliance, every conversation, every backdoor plan is going to be 10x more dramatic with Salina in the building.
Kamu Kirk — MMA Fighter, Phoenix, Arizona (@thejawaiian). Physical threat. Do not be on the wrong side of his HOH.

Taylor Brown — Elementary School Counselor, Deerfield Beach, Florida (@iamtaylorbrown). Don’t sleep on the school counselor — they spend their days managing chaos and reading people. That’s a Big Brother skill set.
Yash Patel — Financial Analyst, Monroe Township, New Jersey (@yash.p). The last-minute replacement for Levi Banks, who was quietly dropped from the cast before move-in day. Yash came in as the alternate — now he’s playing for $750K.

The Stakes Are Higher Than Ever
The $750,000 grand prize is back. The game format stays the same: each week, one houseguest becomes Head of Household, nominates two people for eviction, and the rest of the house votes one out. The last player standing takes the money.
Last season, 25-year-old Ashley Hollis won with a dominant 6-to-1 jury verdict. Vince Panaro was runner-up. Keanu Soto took America’s Favorite Houseguest. This season’s cast looks like it has the depth — and the chaos — to produce a wildly different outcome.
