Moment Big Brother’s Rome & Lyric reunite as she calls him ‘the love of my life’
BIG Brother’s Rome Seymour and Lyric Medeiros have reunited for the first time since their evictions from the house.
The couple was one of the most talked-about showmances of the currently airing Season 28, with their frequent flirtations and PDA-filled moments.
Now that they’ve both been evicted from the famous house, the pair have resumed their love affair in Lyric‘s home state of Hawaii.
Lyric shared a TikTok earlier this week documenting their long-awaited reunion during Rome’s (who hails from Florida) visit to the island.
“Come with me to pick up the love of my life from the airport,” Lyric told her over 686,000 followers while driving in the rainy weather.
Rome landed just before Hurricane Lala battered the island, and Lyric noted the irony: her former houseguest, LaTrice “Lala” Verrett, had just relinquished her power as Head of Household.
“I’m so excited. I literally can’t believe he’s going to be here. Why am I nervous? Why am I nervous right now?” Lyric gushed.
She then introduced her BFF Mina, who came along for the ride, and revealed that she reached out to Rome following his eviction earlier in the season.
The ladies continued filming their arrival at the airport, where Rome, also referred to by his legal name, Jack, was waiting with his bags.
Both Rome and Lyric were giddy upon seeing each other again, and Rome ran into her arms before she could even pull over.
“I’m cutting off traffic,” Rome said as he embraced his lover with hugs and kisses.
Mina then filmed the lovebirds making out in the middle of the street while loading Rome’s bags into the trunk.
“This is why there’s traffic at the airport,” she joked while Rome and Lyric couldn’t keep their hands off of each other.
“Look who’s here!” Lyric squealed in one more clip of the pair cuddled up at her home and Rome kissing her on the cheek.

“Happy to be back with my love!” Lyric captioned her post.
The duo hasn’t seen each other in person since Rome’s Week 2 live eviction, which aired on July 23.
Lyric voted with the majority to evict Rome after he was pitted against Melody Morris following their BB Blockbuster loss to Jason De Puy.
After his eviction, Rome declared on live TV his love for Lyric and his hopes of marrying her one day.
Lyric was evicted a couple of weeks later after a last-minute 8-3 vote flip against Melody on August 6.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the couple reignited their romance as soon as Lyric got her phone back the following morning.
They also revealed that Rome and Lyric are “serious” about each other and that the pickleball coach has already talked about proposing sometime this year.
