Who Is The Actress Lawrence Robb Calls “A Keeper”?
Unlike his troubled alter ego Mackenzie Boyd, Lawrence Robb enjoys a remarkably private life away from the ITV cameras. The Scottish actor has been happily dating actress Rachel Donovan, and the pair have frequently delighted fans with glimpses of their relationship on social media.
Lawrence once affectionately referred to Rachel as “a keeper,” a simple comment that quickly won over Emmerdale fans who loved seeing the actor’s softer side.
Life on screen couldn’t be more different. Since arriving in Emmerdale in 2020, Mackenzie Boyd has survived one devastating storyline after another—from discovering he was Reuben’s father and marrying Charity Dingle to becoming the victim of serial killer John Sugden’s terrifying kidnapping plot.
Now, Mackenzie faces another emotional crisis as Charity’s hidden past threatens to destroy their marriage once again, leaving viewers wondering whether the couple can survive yet another explosive chapter.
Path to stardom
Lawrence was born in Glasgow on 7 November 1991, making him 34 years old.
When he initially joined the ITV soap, viewers assumed he was connected to his character’s sister, Moira Dingle, who is portrayed by Natalie J. Robb, in reality, as they share the same surname and both hail from Scotland.
However, it was confirmed that both soap actors coincidentally share the same surname.
Before securing his role in Emmerdale, Lawrence also featured in the television series I Hate Suzie, portraying Matt in 2020.
