BIG Brother’s Rick Devens is getting heat for his shocking remark about his housemate on the show’s live feed.

The Survivor alum has already been accused of getting special treatment as he and the other icons have dominated the game.

Fans are now pointing daggers at Rick for seemingly making a “racist” comment about his co-star Taylor Brown.

The moment was caught on the series’ 24/7 live feed over the weekend, when Rick chatted with some of his allies from the newly formed MoshPit alliance.

Footage captured Rick and Barrett Pfeiffer trying to fool Angela Murray and Dee Valladares with a story about their fellow houseguests’ connection before entering the Big Brother house.

“Haley [Thogmartin] and Taylor know each other from before this season started,” Barrett told the ladies while lounging in the Head of Household suite.

Dee was stunned by the revelation, as Barrett and Rick tried to keep straight faces.

“It’s a very complicated relationship,” Rick added before going into detail about Hailey and Taylor’s apparent connection.

“You know how Haley’s mom owns Silky Chickens? Well, guess who sells them?” the reality star revealed.

“Taylor doesn’t actually run a lemonade stand,” Barrett interjected, to which Rick added, “She runs a Silky Chickens stand.”

Dee broke out into laughter and said, “I would’ve believed it if you told me that they knew each other beforehand and actually had a good story about it.”

Angela also laughed while putting her head in her hands.

It appears the joke poked fun at Taylor telling the group that she runs a lemonade stand earlier in the season instead of disclosing her actual career as a school counselor.

Fans were livid over Rick’s comment and demanded that CBS remove him from the show immediately.

“I personally think Devens should be removed by @cbsbigBrother. This is exactly why I stopped watching it. It’s so ugly. It’s clearly a racist statement,” one person wrote on X.

“@CBSBigBrother I hope someone sends y’all a lawsuit. This is nuts,” another complained.

“@CBSBigBrother do something! This is racist!” a third pleaded.

“That @CBSBigBrother rule book must be some blank pages. They should not be allowed to do this and stay in the house,” a fourth said.

“Omg! Wtf @CBSBigBrother this is way too damn far,” a fifth reacted.

Following the mass backlash, Devens’ wife, Becca, also chimed in on the controversy.

When a user on X, a platform Becca is regularly active on, mentioned that she had been “real quiet” as of late, the nurse fired back, writing: “Becca Devens doesn’t give a s**t about trolls.

“But cares very much about POC who are actually hurt and knows that there is nothing she can say that won’t be taken out of context and twisted by trolls.

“Becca Devens also loves her kids and their safety is her number one priority.”

Rick and Becca share two kids together, a son named Jackson, 12, whom they call Jack and a daughter named Juliet, 8, who goes by JuJu.

Social media users previously dragged Rick for his and former BB28 star Kamu Kirk‘s “disgusting” reactions to their male housemates dressing up in women’s clothing during a silly bit.

Despite the backlash, Rick appears to be the one to beat in the competition, and not just because of his strategic gameplay.

An insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun that producers “favor” Rick and the season’s other icons, Dee and Angela, and credit them for the soaring ratings.

Rick made a game-changing move last week when he decided to use his Diamond Power of Veto to replace Dee on the block with Kamu.

The last-minute switch led to Kamu getting unexpectedly voted off in the live eviction, keeping the veterans in control of the house.
