Big Brother 28: Nomination Anticipation In Week 4

Heading into the start of Week 4 of Big Brother 28 and it’s gonna be a “meet the new boss, same as the old boss.” That’s great news if you enjoyed Week 3, if not, well then I got bad news for you.

Haley has taken over the reins from Kamu, yet another member of the Red Corner alliance, making this four straight weeks of their total HOH control this entire game so far. Have mercy, we are going to need a powershift here and Big Brother is famous for its doghouse to penthouse storylines so let’s get on that, Grodner.

In the meantime, Haley wasted zero time setting up her plans for the week. You’ll recall Haley has taken some flak over the past few weeks when we saw Devens’s Noms Ceremony hijacked and then during Kamu’s tea party. So she’s got a bit of a chip on her shoulder and Haley is looking to share that with her targets.

Soon after the Feeds came back overnight Haley was telling Devens that she wants Taylor gone this week and she will be an upfront nomination. Then joining Taylor would be Melody as her backup target and Drew. Drew, huh? Devens pushed back on that suggestion since Drew is a member of Toolshed, but Haley later explained she wants a guy on the Block with the ladies. As her for renom option, it’d be LaLa, but Haley of course doesn’t want it to come to that.

Elsewhere in the House we saw Mallory in panic mode with Barrett who agreed she could be in trouble and then there was Melody having a moment of her own, also with Barrett. Melody was a bit tearful, wished for her family to be there, and prepared herself for what she expected.

Later in the night Haley got the key to her HOH room and instead of reading her letter from home, Haley gave a little speech about the people who had talked trash about her so far should stay out of her room and off her snacks. It didn’t land quite as hard as Haley probably thought was going to happen, but that’s her stance.

We should see some attempts to shuffle the Drew nom plans and have HGs trying to suggest an alternative later today, but I won’t be surprised to see Angela lean into that Drew idea given her ongoing suspicions of his trustworthiness. The HGs were up really late last night (uh yeah, us too) so there may be a slow start to the day but they’ll have plenty of time to work on things, especially as they await the Time Capsule results.

What do you think of Haley’s plans here? Is she making the right move with her Noms and does a Taylor target make sense right now?
