Big Brother 28: Taylor and Yash Work to Recover From the Diamond Power of Veto
The Big Brother 28 Diamond Power of Veto didn’t bring as much drama or entertainment as we all hoped. It was definitely a whimper more than a bang. Nevertheless, the actions and ripple effects because of Devens’ move may at least take out a major player. It won’t exactly change the power structure because Devens, Dee, Barrett, and Drew have been in power all season.
Kamu, Haley, and Chuk were right beside them, but LaTrice’s Head of Household at least took Chuk, Kamu, and Haley out of power. Kamu was making an attempt to restructure the game in his favor. He dropped the Toolshed and tried to work with Yash, Taylor, and LaTrice going forward.
Yash and Taylor know that the vets are a major threat to their chances of winning the game, so they made an effort to get them out this week. They have likely failed because now only Angela remains on the block. No one wants to vote her out, especially not against Haley and Kamu, who are clearly more physical competition threats.

Nonetheless, Yash and Taylor are trying to keep Kamu in the game. They also want to keep Haley if possible, because they see them as weapons to use against the vets. Yash told this to Drew, Barrett, and Melody following the lack of fallout from this week’s Veto meeting.
Mallory talked about wanting to warn Taylor and Yash that she planned to vote out Kamu. She didn’t want to blindside them. Melody encouraged her to wait closer to the vote, and she will do the same.
Taylor and Mallory were alone in the storage room, and Taylor asked her about her vote. She started to say that she wanted Angela to go and to keep Haley and Kamu as shields. Mallory immediately said that she doesn’t trust Haley and Kamu together.
She could maybe consider working with one of them but doesn’t want them as a duo. Taylor listened and just moved on. Later, she disclosed this information to Yash, who got a little upset because he knows if Kamu leaves, then he becomes the next big target.
Yash and Taylor have taken this major blow to their game pretty well, but they know losing Kamu puts them in even greater danger. He’s a shield for them, and someone who could win competitions and help them. However, Mallory and Melody seem more willing to flip on the vets than Drew and Barrett.
Therefore, it’s not necessarily game over for them if Kamu leaves this week. They can reposition themselves if people aren’t completely set on going to the end with the Mosh Pitt. Haley also seems to have moved away from working with Dee, Angela, and Devens, so she could also fully commit to working with Yash and Taylor going forward.
