Big Brother’s Lyric BETRAYS Rome and evicts him despite steamy showmance
BIG Brother’s Lyric Medeiros has turned her back on Rome Seymour and voted him out, despite their steamy relationship.
The couple established a close bond almost immediately after entering the house, becoming the season’s first showmance.
However, their alliance was rocked earlier this week when Rome gave up Lyric and several others to be contenders on the block.
In an attempt to keep Lyric, Melody Morris, and Jason De Puy off the block, Rome tried to strike a deal with Head of Household Rick Devens.
Unfortunately for the professional pickleball player, his plan backfired, and Rick nominated all three of the players for eviction.
Rome’s tough gameplay put a target on his back, as much of the house rallied to give him the boot.

After winning the Power of Veto, Rick decided to award it to Lyric and give Rome her seat on the block.
But many were still divided on whether to evict him or Melody, due to Melody’s blossoming romance with Drew Campbell, who has been playing both sides of the game.
After Jason came out on top in the BB Blockbuster during Thursday’s live eviction, it was up to the houseguests to vote to either send Rome or Melody packing.
In a nearly unanimous 11-1 vote, Rome was ultimately evicted.
To his and many fans’ surprise, Lyric wasn’t the houseguest who voted to keep Rome around.
During his interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves, Rome discovered that it was Taylor Brown who chose to save him, and not Lyric.
This was just moments after Rome expressed his love for Lyric on live TV and vowed to marry her when they reunite.
Fans suspect that Lyric, who broke down in tears in the Diary Room while casting her vote, planned to vote for Rome to keep herself in good standing with her housemates.
It wouldn’t be the first time they cast their relationship aside as a strategy in the competition.
Lyric and Rome also pretended to break up on Wednesday’s episode to help Lyric convince Rick to give her the POV.
Up until that point, Lyric and Rome hadn’t tried to hide their affection for one another.
They’d been caught many times packing on the PDA and having intimate conversations on the show’s 24/7 live feed.
The lovebirds have even exchanged “I love yous” in front of the cameras.
