She tells him the devastating truth: Steve has dumped her, and Tyrone has thrown her out.
Gathering herself, Cassie arranges one final goodbye with her family. Fiz hands her a family photo to take with her. The farewell is tearful, emotional — and then it takes a dark and dangerous turn.
Ross Locks Cassie In — And Speeds Away

When Steve quizzes Ross about Cassie later, Ross flat-out lies — claiming he has no idea where she is. When Steve presses him — he saw Cassie get into Ross’s car — Ross changes his story and claims he simply drove her to Piccadilly Station. Fiz, for one, isn’t buying it.

Betsy, now recovering at home following her stroke, reaches out to Dylan through Ryan. She wants to talk to him — to tell him she doesn’t blame him for what happened. Dylan visits, but their conversation is cut short when Lisa arrives.
Tensions explode when Lauren finds out Dylan visited Betsy. She urges Brody to hold Dylan accountable, and Brody confronts him — warning him to stay away for good. Things spiral when Dylan accuses Brody of jealousy, and Nina is forced to step in as the pair square up.
Then Nina makes a horrifying discovery: Dylan is found unconscious in the precinct. Sean immediately accuses Brody — but Dylan himself swears Brody wasn’t responsible. So who really attacked him?
Kit Uncovers a Secret That Could Free Sarah
Kit is quietly piecing together a potential lifeline for Sarah Platt. When he oversees delivery of a hard drive, Bethany demands to know what he’s hiding. Kit finally opens up — revealing Gary’s role in Theo’s murder and pointing out that if they can prove Gary prevented Sarah from going to the police, her sentence could be dramatically reduced.
Kit digs into the data from the hard drive and finds something significant. He seeks out Gary and tells him he’s had “an interesting day” — then invites him to come to the flat to hear more. Could this be the breakthrough that changes everything for Sarah?
Debbie Confronts Her Worst Fear
Debbie vows to give up alcohol to try to protect her brain. But a chance encounter on the street shakes her to her core — she comes across Sienna’s mum Sadie, who fails to recognise her own daughter. As Sienna leads her mum away, Debbie is left staring at a possible glimpse of her own future.
Tim’s Cousin Richie Turns Up Unannounced
