BIG Brother alum Rome Seymour’s friends have expressed concerns about the seriousness of his relationship with Lyric Medeiros as they reunite for the first time following their evictions.
The couple found love shortly after entering the Big Brother house for the currently airing Season 28, but Rome’s pals aren’t thrilled about their quick-moving romance, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
An insider close to the pickleball coach said the lovebirds have been “inseparable” since reuniting outside the house.
Rome – birth name Jack – jetted off to Hawaii from his hometown in Florida to see Lyric days after her August 6th eviction – two weeks after their housemates booted him in a nearly unanimous vote.

The pair apparently don’t expect to be apart for a while, as they’ve already mapped out their plans for the next several weeks.
“Lyric and Rome already have plans for basically the rest of the Big Brother season,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.
“They’ll be back in Los Angeles for the finale, maybe the 1,000 episodes [celebration] too. They’re working that out right now. And all the days in between will be him still in Hawaii, her in Florida, or them taking trips together,” the source added.
The August 27th live eviction marks 1,000 episodes of the long-running CBS series, becoming the first primetime series to reach the milestone in television history.
Many former houseguests are flying out to the Los Angeles studios for the festivities.
“They’re already inseparable and most likely will stay that way. They’re obsessed with each other,” the insider said about Rome and Lyric’s connection.
While many fans rooted for their on-screen showmance with their flirty exchanges and steamy make-outs, some members of Rome’s inner circle are “worried” their relationship is moving at lightning speed.
It’s moving really fast, so there are some friends that are worried, like telling him, ‘Slow down buddy.’ But he insists Lyric is a good girl, and he knows what he’s doing,” the source shared.
Rome seemed confident in their bond as he declared his love for Lyric on live television and admitted to host Julie Chen Moonves that he hopes to marry Lyric one day.
This was even after he discovered that Lyric “betrayed” him by not voting to keep him in the house over Melody Morris.
Lyric shocked fans in the following weeks when she was seen flirting with fellow houseguests Kamu Kirk and Chuk Anyanwu.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Rome “felt weird” watching Lyric flirt with the other guys immediately after he left but understood she had to “do what she needed to do to win.”
They also noted that Rome planned to “wait for” Lyric and was “all in” on their relationship.
It didn’t take long before they were together again as Rome immediately traveled to Hawaii to see Lyric, who documented their reunion on TikTok.
She recorded herself picking Rome up at the airport and their sweet embrace when they saw each other.
Her BFF, Mia, also joined for the ride and admitted to reaching out to Rome after his eviction, after seeing their love affair on TV.
On Thursday, Lyric shared another TikTok, showing the pair packing on the PDA at her house in Hawaii.
“When you get evicted, but you found your person,” she wrote over the clip as the couple smiled and kissed.
Rome appears to feel the same way, as a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun before his trip that the athlete wanted to propose to Lyric “maybe even before the end of the year.”
