Big Brother 28 Spoilers: Weekend Roundup – Week 6

No shortage of excitement and updates this weekend so far with everything that’s happened inside the Big Brother 28 house since Thursday’s live show. Let’s catch you up on everything that’s gone down since the last episode so you’re ready for the rest of Week 6. And there is a lot that we think could be coming up soon.

Here’s the rundown on all the Big Brother spoilers since Thursday’s live show that you may have missed.

Head of Household:
We finally got a knock-out style comp for the HOH so we’ll get to see that in Sunday’s episode. These are always exciting because while we know the alliances it’s harder for some of the HGs to get a read on them. But with a situation like this it becomes very obvious which HGs or side is being beat up by repeat picks for a chance to be knocked out.

When the dust settled on this one it was Yash holding the key this week as the new HOH. Whether or not Yash is a HG you’re rooting for it’s still a good thing for the balance of the game to see a new face in the HOH room. And in fact no repeats yet this season as we hit the half way mark, but practically it was like getting repeats the first four weeks for Red Corner.

Time Capsule:
Once again our polling was accurate with Melody leading the survey with a huge, solid lead. What didn’t work out for her though was the timing on that button. Sigh. Another failed attempt this week as Melody emerged from the Diary Room wearing a costume as Lady of the Latrine.

This was a short one though for just 24 hours (or so) but Melody had a trumpet to announce when a HG wanted to use the bathroom. And she had to keep the toilet stall under lock and key, so no one was popping in unannounced. Melody was a good sport about it but geez that has to be frustrating to miss the chance at a power when her closest ally had just suffered the same fate. And heck, this was really Melody’s second punishment in a row from the Time Capsule considering she was tethered for Mallory’s loss.

Nominations:
Now we’re getting back to the important spoilers as Yash was able to send three HGs to the Block and he did not hold back or play timid. Yash knows they need to get out the Vets but he wasn’t ready to disrupt things too much with the Bros, so instead of all three of them going to the Block it was a mix of Dee, Angela, and Haley as the Noms. Haley was an easy choice as the house target last round and he still has a good shot at the Vets without necessarily swiping at all of them.

Yash has told HGs he doesn’t have a target preference but in other private talks it sounds like he most wants Dee out of the game. Just wait though, because it may not be that easy to pull off for Yash or the other Newbies.

Veto Competition:
OTEV is back this week and we’ll get to see that play out during Wednesday’s episode. So far we’ve heard some retells of the order with Melody coming in third, Barrett at second, and Yash having a nice double win week for the Power of Veto.

So now it gets interesting. Devens and Dee are out of options for keeping Dee completely safe with the regular routine of events and she knows he has the Diamond Veto in his pocket. Is this the time to use it even with a few weeks left before it expires? Meanwhile, Yash, Taylor, and Kamu discussed going for renoming Devens after saving Angela, but Yash is leaning away from that idea.

Power of Veto Meeting:
Right now Yash has suggested he won’t use the Veto and instead just keep his Noms the way they are, but he isn’t the only one with a Veto power. If Yash knew what Devens was considering doing then going back to the idea of renoming Devens would force Devens to burn it to save himself instead of Dee so she’d still be there for the vote. But Yash doesn’t know that, does he?

Instead Rick and Dee are going over the idea of saving her and putting Kamu up on the Block in her place. It’s a big shot to take and you don’t want to be missing with something like this so the pressure will be on with the Block Buster. Of course if Kamu does go up against Angela and Haley it means with good confidence that either Haley or Kamu will be out the door.

We will need to keep watching for what happens on the Feed later on Sunday and leading into Monday’s Veto Ceremony but for now it looks like we could be getting a huge day of Feeds to enjoy!
