Big Brother Live Feed spoilers: Who will the new HOH nominate?

The Big Brother game is shifting once again this week with the new Head of Household who doesn’t quite fit into any of the major alliance categories but is sure to change up the course just as we saw last week. After four steady weeks at the start we are finally getting some twists and turns these two rounds and that’s what we needed for Big Brother 28!

On Thursday night we saw Chuk out the door in a “shocking” vote that only blindsided Chuk himself. He’s probably still sitting there with his hands out wondering what happened. Well buckle up HGs because we may be in for another surprise.

HGs faced off in a knock-out competition to become the new Head of Household and when the dust settled Yash had the key. Now Yash has been playing right down the middle on the surface but solidly in the Newbies and Bros camp so these next moves won’t come as a surprise.

Talks in the HOH room ran deep into the night but several points were made clear by Yash with some of his allies like Kamu and Drew. Yash has no intentions of sending home a man this week and he’s very interested in targeting the Vets. That’s bad news for Dee and Angela. More specifically, Angela.

Yash seems to be keen on keeping Devens happy and he sees that Dee is close with Devens, so watch for Yash to put his thumb on the scales for Angela to be presented as the target with the Dee nomination under the guise of helping to keep his target in place. Yash says Dee will be able to beat out Angela in the comps and I imagine he’s right on that.

So who joins those two on the Block later today? There was some chatter about Barrett but that’s less likely (see Yash’s priority to protect the Bros) and instead Haley is the most likely third spot to round things out. And again with Angela being the target and Haley’s visible connection to her that makes sense from an easy explanation for Yash.

Before we get to all that though we will probably find out who gets the latest Time Capsule reward. So far Melody is holding a solid lead in our polling which is fitting following Mallory’s win (and subsequent loss) last week. If Melody gets a power I don’t see her using it against Yash’s HOH or to save any of these three Noms. In that case, I don’t anticipate this week’s potential Time Capsule to influence the situation. But what about the other powers?

Devens’s Diamond Veto is the strongest power out there compared to Dee’s Bribe and either of these could come into play. Dee could try to use her $5K Bribe power to stay off the Block or as a backup she could use it for the Veto winner to save her with it. Then would Devens use his Power to save Dee? He just might because he knows it’s expiring soon anyway. But I don’t think he’d use it to save Angela, especially since she doesn’t even know it exists.
