Big Brother’s Melody shouts out boyfriend at home amid showmance with Drew

Fans have been rooting for Melody and Drew to get together all season, after watching their connection grow on camera.

Both the show’s 24/7 live feeds and the weekly broadcasts have shown the pair’s close bond, including late-night cuddling, hand holding, and impromptu dance sessions.

However, neither has made any concrete moves to solidify their romance.

Viewers believe that Melody’s love interest at home may be influencing her hesitation to pursue her connection with Drew.

Melody has mentioned a guy named Aaron numerous times, whom she’s been dating on-and-off “for years.”

Still, fans were taken aback when she shouted him out on Thursday night’s live eviction.

It happened after Melody cast her vote in the Diary Room for Chuk Anyanwu to go home over Barrett Pfeiffer.

She named Aaron among several others in her shout-outs, and noted that the day marked “six months,” leading some to wonder if the date held significance in their relationship.

Fans reacted to the acknowledgment and questioned how Melody viewed her relationship with Drew.

“Did Melody actually shout out Aaron? I wasn’t paying attention omg #bb28,” one person wrote on X.

“Aaron ain’t waiting for you boo,” warned another.

“Oh Melody… there is no “Aaron” anymore girly. #bb28,” a third echoed.

“Did Melody actually call out Aaron?” a fourth asked.

“Melody doing this and then shouting out her situationship in the DR; she’s insane,” a fifth commented.

An insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun earlier this week that while Melody and Aaron aren’t in a “full-blown relationship,” they had reconnected shortly before filming began.

The pair met several years ago in Phoenix when Melody was a student at Arizona State University.

The source insisted that Aaron was fully supportive of Melody’s decision to go on the show, but he feels “hurt” and “angry” after watching her behavior over the past few weeks.

They also said that the past few days have been particularly difficult for Aaron as he’s seen a massive shift in Melody’s feelings toward Drew.

Melody and Drew’s connection hasn’t slipped past the crew either, as a source previously told The U.S. Sun that producers are allegedly pushing for them to become a full-blown couple since they’re the season’s last remaining showmance.
