How Big Brother’s Rome feels about Lyric flirting with co-stars after betrayal
BIG Brother’s most talked-about Season 28 showmance may have hit a brutal speed bump inside the house but outside the game, the feelings haven’t disappeared.

BIG Brother’s most talked-about Season 28 showmance may have hit a brutal speed bump inside the house but outside the game, the feelings haven’t disappeared.
Following a shocking eviction betrayal and some eyebrow-raising flirting with his rival co-stars, The U.S. Sun can reveal Jack ‘Rome’ Seymour‘s candid reaction to girlfriend Lyric Medeiros‘ controversial behavior.
Rome’s eviction last week left fans stunned after Lyric, 25, blindsided him with a vote to go home – ending one of Season 28’s strongest alliances in dramatic fashion.
The betrayal quickly sent shockwaves through the Big Brother fandom, with viewers questioning whether the pair’s showmance had been real or simply another strategic move in the game.
But according to a source close to Rome, there are no hard feelings on his end – even after watching Lyric grow close to another houseguest immediately after he walked out the door.
“He felt weird about seeing her flirt with guys basically the second after he left,” the insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
“But he knows it’s a game and she has to do what she needs to do to win.
“He’s still rooting for her and he’s proud of her even though she voted him out too.
“Rome is too good of a guy to wish any ill will against her,” the insider spilled.
They added that Rome hasn’t closed the door on a future together once the game is over.
“And if she still wants to be with him out of the game, he’ll be waiting for her. He’s all in.
“His feelings for her were real and he thinks they can even be this influencer power couple.
“There’s other reality shows he wants to go on individually or, as a couple.
“He’s hoping he not only launched a TV career but found love in the BB house. He thinks both can be true,” the insider added.
The revelation comes after Lyric stunned both Rome and viewers by voting to evict him during last Thursday’s live show – ending their in-house romance in one of the season’s biggest betrayals so far.
While many fans expected Lyric to remain loyal to her closest ally due to being inseparable all season, she instead chose to side with the rest of the house, sending Rome packing and leaving him visibly blindsided.
In his post-show interview with Julie Chen-Moonves, he was speechless when the host revealed it was Lyric who voted him out.
The emotional exit marked the end of the season’s biggest showmances that was filled with PDA packed dates in bed and steamy makeouts around the house – but the drama didn’t stop there.
Within just minutes of Rome’s departure, eagle-eyed live feed viewers noticed Lyric appearing noticeably flirtier with fellow houseguest Kamu Kirk.
The pair shared playful conversations and lingering moments that quickly fueled speculation online that Lyric had already moved on from her showmance with Rome.
In one scene, Kamu even complained to other contestants that Lyric had been “all over him” and was being “too much.”
She also was called out by some Big Brother fans for flirting and getting “touchy feely” with muscular cowboy Chukwuemeka ‘Chuk’ Anyanwu right after Rome was evicted.
The unexpected dynamic sparked fierce debate among fans, with some accusing Lyric of ditching Rome the moment he was gone while others defended her, arguing that adapting socially is essential to surviving the game.
Rome, however, appears to have taken the high road.
And despite everything that’s unfolded since his exit, those close to Rome insist he’s still hopeful their relationship can continue once the cameras stop rolling.
