The buzz around Ashley Trail is only getting louder now that she has entered the CBS house — but the real surprise is how dramatically different she looked in older photos before fame found her.
The 24-year-old bartender, who is part of the new Big Brother season 28 cast, has gone through a striking makeover that has fans doing a double take.
On screen today, Ashley stands out with jet-black hair, a tanned glow, fuller lips and tattoos that give her a completely different edge from the version fans found online.
But if you go back just four years, the difference is hard to ignore.

In 2022, Ashley was sporting bright blonde hair and had not yet started building the patch sleeve of ink now seen across her arms.
After old images from her social media resurfaced, viewers quickly flooded comments with stunned reactions.
One fan wrote, “Ashley blonde looks like a whole new girl.” Another added, “That’s not the same person.” A third insisted, “Black hair is her color!!!”
In her intro video for the show, Ashley said she was a bartender from Illinois, but she left out one detail that fans were quick to uncover: she has already appeared on TV before.
In 2024, Ashley worked as a weather girl for Barstool Sports, and viewers were soon sharing the footage after her Big Brother debut.
She is also not the only familiar face in the house.
Jason De Puy, who appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race as Salina EsTitties, is competing alongside Ashley this season.
They are joined by Survivor favorites Rick Devens and Dee Valladares, plus several other houseguests.
Big Brother returned last Thursday, and this season is shaping up to be one of the biggest changes the show has made in years.
Along with its weekly episodes, the series is also rolling out more content and fan experiences on YouTube.
The live feeds will also stream on Pluto TV and Paramount+ beginning July 10.
And there is another major milestone ahead: this season will make Big Brother the first primetime reality series to reach 1,000 original episodes.
