He tracked Todd down at the hospital and confronted her directly. Todd denied it all. Worse, she was smug about it — claiming the encounter was consensual and doubling down when the subject of baby Ila came up. By the time hospital security threw Mack out, the rage in the room was barely contained.

Kev revealed himself as Lewis’s biological father after the kidnapping ordeal. Lewis, already shaken, now has to decide what that means — whether the man in front of him is someone worth trusting, or just another source of chaos in a life that’s had too much of it already.
Kev’s past doesn’t help his case. The stolen diamond known as Penny, the criminal history, Ross Barton taking the fall to protect them both — it’s a lot of damage to talk someone through. But in quiet moments, something real seems to be forming between them. Whether it survives what’s coming is another question entirely.

The investigation into Todd’s murder is only getting started. New evidence will surface. Alliances will shift. And whoever actually killed Dr. Todd is still out there — walking the same streets as everyone else.
